Ventura County. A beautiful place to live, sunshine, beaches, majestic valley oaks, shopping, fragrant fields of strawberries… And traffic.
As we look forward, with congestion projected to more than double in the next twenty years, we must take action to preserve our ability to get to work, to conduct business, to play, and to enjoy the quality of life Ventura County residents treasure.

Fortunately, help is on the way. The Ventura County Transportation Commission (VCTC), working in partnership with Caltrans and our local cities and County, has taken the lead to identify improvements along this important connection to all we do.
